The course addresses the study of the structure, physical, mechanical and technological properties of metals and nonmetallic materials, the possibilities of controlling the properties of materials, as well as modern methods of processing structural materials by plastic deformation, casting, welding, cutting and other methods for the manufacture of blanks and products of a given configuration and sizes, including the rational use of these methods.
The course is intended for students studying in the direction 21.03.01 "Oil and Gas Engineering".
