The goal of mastering the History course (“История”) is to provide students with a comprehensive view of Russia's historical identity, the main periods of its history; its place in world and European civilization; the formation of systematic knowledge about periods of the basic laws and characteristics of the world-historical process with an emphasis on studying the history of Russia; introduction to the circle of historical problems related to the field of future professional activity, development of skills for obtaining, analyzing and summarizing historical information.
The course is intended for students studying in the direction 21.03.01 "Oil and Gas Engineering".
